I am a native of Montana, born and raised in Great Falls. I attended the University of Montana in Missoula, where many family members still live today. I made my home in Minnesota back in 1981 and received my dental degree from University of Minnesota in 1986. 
 

My lovely wife, Kate, has been working with me at Long Lake Dental for 25+ years, as the office manager and partner in all major office decisions. We have 3 grown children, our oldest son who lives in Chicago, our daughter who lives near us in Deephaven with her husband and five kids, and our youngest daughter who lives in Minneapolis. 
 

I cannot think of another profession where I could be happier. I love the challenge of dentistry, both the routine and easy, and the difficult and thought-provoking. I thank my staff and colleagues for voting me three times into the Minnesota Monthly Magazine ranking for the "Top Dentists" in the area. I love helping people and am dedicated to doing my best.

Graduate of Purdue University and Midwestern University Dental School, but originally from North Carolina. I've been living in Minnesota for about 5 years now and am really enjoying the area and being a Minnesotan. My wife Kayla and I love traveling, sports, boating, our beautiful daughter Palmer, our dog Leo and most outdoor activities. 
 

I enjoy treating children and adults of all ages and really appreciate all of the challenges dentistry has to offer. As an owner, I look forward to continuing the amazing reputation Dr. McNaught has built and Long Lake Dental has in our community. I love all areas of dentistry, from implants and oral surgery to improving smiles with Invisalign. I'm constantly trying to stay up to date on the latest techniques and equipment so our patients receive the best dental care. We are always welcoming new patients at Long Lake dental, meeting new people, and taking care of our current and existing patients is truly the best part of this job.

I am an experienced Dental Hygienist and have been part of the Long Lake Dental family for over 30 years. A Licensed, Registered Dental Hygienist, I graduated from the University of Minnesota and prioritize my professional development through multiple continuing education courses. I also actively engage in two dental study clubs and provide dental hygiene product consulting for 3M. Throughout my career, I've found my true passion in building lasting patient relationships while helping to improve their wholistic dental health. 
 

A lifelong Minnesota resident and Gopher fan, I enjoy spending weekends in Northern Minnesota, taking family vacations, hiking, and playing golf and pickleball with my husband. We have two daughters - Ellen, a CPA, lives in Minneapolis, and Rachel, a Strategic Communications Manager, lives in Chicago. We were also overjoyed to welcome two new sons-in-law to the family this year. Go Gophers!
